The Richard Allen Usher Board
The Richard Allen Usher Board
Overview
We’re named after the founder of the African Methodist Episcopal Church, Bishop Richard Allen. He was an educator, minister, writer and extremely influential in the black community. As Richard Allen Usher Boardmembers, we’re responsible for exhibiting order and pleasantness throughout the service. We usher every fourth Sunday at 8 a.m. which is primarily known as Sweat Suit Sunday. We’re encouraging anyone who is interested in serving to join the Richard Allen Usher Board (RAUB).
