Vision

God continues to have a vision for our lives that is greater than any vision we can have for ourselves or others can have for us. As followers of the Lord Jesus Christ his audacious word found in John 14: 12, that expresses his belief in our possibilities continues to amaze me, “Very truly, I tell you, the one who believes in me will also do the works that I do and, in fact, will do greater works than these, because I am going to the Father.” However, to accomplish all God in Christ through the gifting of the Holy Spirit desires to do for the expansion and realization of God’s kingdom on earth, as well as our own greatest, best and highest fulfillment as individuals, meaning not only addressing “the weights and sins that so easily beset us,” (Hebrews 12: 1), we must also destroy the strongholds and demolish the yokes that still hold us in bondage, in God’s church as well as our own individual lives. Therefore, our theme for 2018 is

“Destroy Every Stronghold and Demolish Every Yoke.”
